Frequently Asked Questions

What video camera will you be using to shoot my wedding?

We use a Canon XL1-S, a 3CCD broadcast quality prosumer digital video camera. As a backup / second camera we use a JVC GR-DVL300 1CCD digital video camera.

How long will it take for you to get my wedding video to me?

We will have your wedding video back to you in approximately 2 to 3 weeks from your wedding day, depending on our work load at the time.

Can I have input into the way that you edit the video?

Certainly! It is, after all your wedding day and we will encourage you to give us as many ideas as possible so we can do a perfect job for you.

Will you be intrusive on my Wedding day?

We will endeavour to be as invisible as possible and blend into the background. We will try and plan with you before the event where you would like the camera(s) positioned at the ceremony and will try, with your permission and our availability to attend the rehearsal when you have it. This gives us the advantage of placing our equipment in the right location so we do not disrupt the flow of the wedding as well as ensuring that we are in a position to capture all aspects of the ceremony.

How long will my video be?

Most videos end up being around 1 to 2 hours in duration and it all depends on how long key elements of your wedding day are. The DVD's that we do have a limitation of approximately 2 hours and if necessary will be a cut down version of the VHS edition. As an additional extra, you can also purchase the un-edited full version of your wedding.
