DVD Authoring The Digital Video Disk (DVD) media format is becoming increasingly popular as prices of DVD players drop and the consumer market realises the advantages of the DVD format over the VHS tape. VHS has a very limited shelf life depending on the conditions (temperature, humidity, exposure to air) that the tapes are stored in. DVD media on the other hand has a much longer shelf life and is ideal for preserving the memories that you may have on VHS, Digital-8 or the new DV tape formats. The following table is a break-up of our prices to convert VHS, Digital-8 or DV tape to DVD-R format. To ensure optimum picture quality, each DVD disk can hold a maximum of 2 hours of footage. All prices include G.S.T. plus cases with a coloured cover and printed label per DVD produced.
For editing of raw footage, the rate is charged as quoted in the table above and is based on the quantity and quality of editing requested. Editing can include special effects, scene transitions, titling etc. Please Note: Due to copyright laws, we cannot convert everything to DVD. You must be the copyright owner of the material for us to transfer the footage to DVD. |
